About Us
Dr. McKone
Dr. McKone has had his dental practice in this location since 1975. He graduated from The University of Iowa dental school in 1973 and served in the U.S. Air Force as a dentist for two years. Dr. McKone is a general dentist who has taken many advanced dental courses so that he is able to provide most types of dental services including cosmetic dentistry, white fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals, children's dentistry, traditional orthodontics, Invisalign orthodontics, treatment of gum disease, dental implant restorations, and teeth whitening. As a 30 year resident of Plymouth, Dr. McKone has seen there are many needy families right in our own area and since 1989 has found it very rewarding to work with Interfaith Outreach to give free dentistry for our neighbors in need. Away from the office Dr. McKone enjoys golf, frequent visits to Florida, and bird watching.

Janna
Janna - Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. Staff member since 1985. Janna is primarily a chairside dental assistant but she knows the office so well that you will find her doing many services including working at the front desk. If we want to know where something is or how it works, we go looking for Janna. Away from the office Janna enjoys a variety of crafts, working in her flower gardens, and spending time with her family.
Kim
Kim - Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. Staff member since 1986. When Kim is not assisting chairside, she most likely will be in our dental lab as she has a special interest and talent in fabricating dental models, mouthguards, orthodontic retainers, and setting up braces. Kim enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
Kathy
Kathy - Dental Hygienist. Staff member since 1987. Kathy is a hygienist with a great TLC touch and a gift for gently motivating patients to achieve a higher level of oral hygiene. Her special interest in infection control has made her the person we go to when we have questions in this area. In her leisure time Kathy enjoys golf and working in her garden.
Kelly
Kelly - Front Desk. Staff member since 1995. Every office needs a "take charge person" and Kelly is ours. Hers is most often the friendly voice you hear when you call our office. Kelly will always go beyond the expected to make sure you get 5 star service from our office. Since Kelly doesn't get to use her artistic side at work by chairside directly creating beautiful smiles, she creates beautifully decorated cakes as her hobby at home.
Kerin
Kerin - Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. Staff member since 2006. Kerin is a chairside assistant with more than 15 years experience. She enjoys getting to know our patients and help them feel comfortable during treatment. When away from work you’ll find Kerin spending time with her family or at the lake.
Katie
Katie - Dental Hygienist. Staff member since 2006. As one of newer members of our staff, Katie brings her youth and enthusiasm. After working as a dental assistant for three years, she continued her education and graduated from Normandale College in dental hygiene. Her favorite part of dental hygiene is teaching people how to really take care of their mouths. With an infant and preschooler at home, she doesn’t have much free time, but if the weather is right, you’ll find her on her bike.
