He will then take an impression for our dental lab and put temporary veneers on your teeth. After the lab delivers your custom set of porcelain veneers to Dr. McKone, you’ll visit us again. At this second appointment, Dr. McKone will remove your temporaries and permanently adhere the custom porcelain veneers in place. He will make sure that your teeth come together properly and make adjustments if necessary.
For patients who would like a conservative approach to porcelain veneers, Dr. McKone also provides Lumineers, a no-prep veneer option. Lumineers require no enamel removal before placing, so the existing tooth structure is not altered. In fact, Lumineers placement is reversible, so you have nothing to lose.
